Show video description on iPad?

How do I show the description of my videos on my iPad once I've added them on iTunes on my Mac? Whenever you purchase a TV Show or Movie from the iTunes store you also get a description under the video and you have the option of tapping more to get more information. I would like to know how ot add that description to my own videos (home videos, ripped DVDs ect.).

You can name and add other information to movies in iTunes. Just right click on the movie and click on the Get Info item. That will bring up many places to add info such as changing Name, or adding track numbers (useful for playing sequentially) and such.

I have done that, I have gone to Get Info and then I went to the Video tab and added my description but it still doesn't show on my iPad.

To make your own descriptions appear on the iPad, like the ones you buy from the iTunes store, you need to add this info in the 'Long Descriptions' window, which you can't access through 'Get info'. It's a small 'i' icon, located to the right of the 'Description' column when you click on a TV Show/Movie.

To add text you can try Doug's 'Long Description Text' script. Works a charm. Link below:
