Mail disappears

If my wife reads (not deletes) mail on her iPhone, the email disappears from her MacBook Pro. Both are signed into the same Apple ID.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.2

On your Mac, is it set up as an IMAP account or POP?

e-mail not downloaded from server My wife can't see her e-mail on her iphone. It says "message not downloaded from server". However, we can see them on my iphone, the Mac, and our old ipad. We changed her password recently but the mystery is why the e-mails show up on all of our devices but not her phone. I am tech challenged so be gentle. Thank you.

iPad - Delete email from 1 account, same e-mail deleted from another I have 2 IMAP accounts set up on my iPad, one for me (dan@xxx.com), one for my wife (sue@xxx.com). If someone sends the same e-mail to both of these accounts (i.e. both accounts in the "To:" field), then when I look at it, say under the neil@xxx.com account and then delete it, it also gets deleted on my wife's account (sue@xxx.com), so when she gets her account up it isn't there. I disagree with previous posts commenting 'that's how mail is supposed to work'. Also, this does not happen when viewing/deleting on iPhones or Mac (or browser for that matter). All threading is turned off on all devices. any ideas? thanks

Cannot find downloaded email Wife's email shows 172 downloaded emails, but those emails are nowhere to be found in her mailbox. Where can I find those emails?

OK, in a Browser log into your WebMail, is all your Mail there?

Are you running any VPN, Anti-Virus, or Cleaning apps?
