Calendar grid lines and times are too light - difficult to read. Solution?

I have tried prior recommendations without success.

Remove grey dots on calendar dates After the recent update, 18.1.1, there are grey dots on almost all dates in my calendar even though there are no events or after I delete all events for that date. Can someone please help me fix this?
