Is this a virus?

Hey there,

I recently found this popping up on my desktop a couple of times already now.

Looks like an advertisement, but I've never seen such thing happen until just a month ago.

When I pressed F3 my laptop labeled it "CUHARM64" as you can see on the image.

Is this a virus or did I just not configure some safari ad blocker right?

Thank you all!

This is not a virus, Macs are not prone to viruses. This can be a bad safari extension, pleaser take note of your extensions via safari>safari in menu bar>preferences>extensions

You can also scan your Mac with the free version of malwarebytes if you're afraid that there is malware on your system

Interesting, no haven't really figured out anything new. I scanned for viruses using Malwarebytes, but the software says I'm safe. So I assume it's alright. But I'll keep watching whether it pops up again. Really weird, since random ads never happend to me before either. Plus recently my screen started flickering (just for a fraction of a second, and only once every second day or so) and it really didn't do anything, but maybe it's just my laptop getting old :/

Let me know if you have any news!
