iPhone 11 cellular issue

I have an iPhone 11 with an issue whereby it's not able to receive any cellular connection despite running on full bar 4G connection and the phone is just continuously heating up even after restarting the device. But when I switch to flight mode and use wifi, the phone is able to connect to the internet & it doesn't heat up.

I've already try restarting my phone, reinsert the SIM card, did a factory reset yet the issue still persist. Could this be a software or hardware issue cause I realised this only happened after updating to the newest iOS?

Troubleshooting iPhone:

Have you installed iOS17?

Overeating iPhone and draining iPhone batteries are a well-known issues of the iOS17 install. Question is: "Just how many people have actually reported this to Apple?" So, this overheating may be making this occur.

Report this to Apple...

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread
  4. Proceed from there as necessary
