Iphone 15 pro max overheat

Hi all,

i have a new iphone 15 pro max with ios 17.1.1. My phone gets hot and randomly freeze and restart after using my airpods pro to listen to spotify/apple music.it only happens if i am listening to songs and also browsing the web/ apps simultaneously. Does anyone else face any issues similar to this?

iPhone 16 pro max overheating Regardless of what app I’m running, whether it be a process demanding app or not, it just randomly gets hot. But I haven’t even downloaded any high end demanding apps yet. It get hot when I’m using the photos app, the camera, my notes app, YouTube, even when I make a call it gets too hot. I went to Apple Store and the dude there said it would be solved in a software updated. But there hasn’t been any news of the 16s being overheated because of a software issue. So it’s most likely an issue with just my phone. He then replied that it was the phone case that was causing my phone to overheat so much. Is that even possible?

My iPhone is overheating after iOS 18.1.1 update I updated my 16 pro max and my 12 pro max to iOS 18.1.1 yesterday. Ever since I updated, both phones overheat randomly, the screens freeze and become completely unresponsive. Not app specific, happens completely random. No temperature warning comes up at all when it happens, it’s literally the hottest I’ve ever felt my phone get. [Re-Titled By Moderator]
