text retrieval for period with no working phone
iphone 6s died, took 3 weeks before i got a new phone. how can i get received texts in that periodtext retrival

If iMessages and they are still on the server, they will populate when you activate the phone. If they are SMS, check with your carrier, but I doubt they can be retrieved. Generally, SMS messages that cannot be delivered after a couple of days are gone.
