Hi everyone! I just downloaded and installed final cut pro trial version on my macbook pro (macOS Sonoma).
It says that it's installed, but in fact it did not appear in applications/cannot find through spotlight search and looks like it wasn't installed. What should I do to make it work? I tried to restart and did it once again, but same result. Would appreciate any help!

Where and how does it say that it's installed?
If it is not present in Applications, then (for some reason) it failed to install, despite any notification that it did install...
Or... just in case, try this: open the Applications folder and press Command-Shift-period
Does Final Cut Pro appear in grey?

I can vouch for the fact that the download and the app work well as I have a copy on my Mac.
If I remember correctly it downloads a .dmg file to your Downloads Folder.
You then have to double-click the file to open the installer, whereupon you go through the install process.
Did you do all that?
You now have 2 choices.
The faster one is to double-click the .dmg and run the installer again.
If that doesn't work (occasionally downloads can become corrupt) simply download it again.

If you use Spotlight: command-space, type the first few letters, like "Final", what do you get? Does Final Cut Pro Trial appear on the search?
Mine starts like the image below. (As an aside: this is actually how I launch FCP, it is so quick; press a few keys and enter)
Isn't it in the Dock?
Just checking but did you actually open and look in the Applications folder?
It should be next to FaceTime.
