Projects vs Keywords FCPX

I have 30 PSA's that are talking head on camera deliveries with B roll to go with each set of PSA's

is it better to set up each video project in its own event or make 1 event and have all the projects in that one event?

I know I can use keywords but is there a reason I should do either? is it less taxing if they are in their separated events? I still have to assign all the footage to each one in either a project or a keyword.

I do realize that keywords can really segment some of the B roll out but I am not sure if I am tasking the library in some way.

I set it up as events for each segment and the project in there but then I have a whole slew of 30 events in the code bar which makes it tuff to look at and get thru. Of course events can't be placed in folders or I would do that.

Seems like one event would be the best way to assemble all 3 projects but then I need to deal with assigning the b roll to each project. Any advice would be appreciated.

I guess what I am getting at is what is the best visual to deal with all of this footage as well as what makes sense with working between events with footage.

THanks

30 events won't tax FCP. I think the event number needs to be much higher for it to be a concern. Every event has a separate database created and maintained by FCP. If it were me, and not knowing exactly how the B-roll is to be used across the PSAs, I'd probably create one or several events for the PSA projects and their associated Broll. You can use keywords and Smart Collections to help display what you want.
