Turn off two-factor authentication

Someone used my Facebook sign in & phone # to change the email address on my Facebook account, & because I have the 2-factor authentication, the code goes to their email address & I can’t get my Facebook account back.

You can't turn off Two Factor once it has been set up.

The only exception would be if it has been less than two weeks since you signed up. In that case, there is a link in the confirming email that you received from Apple that can be used to turn off Two Factor.

You may need to change the email address associated with your Apple ID. Best to confirm with Apple Support...before....you do this though.

Sorry, can't help on Facebook, but another user might be able to offer some assistance.
