My I-phone 14 has asked me to change my passcode - ie, the 6 digit code is this a thing now, as I have changed it only recently - Is Any one getting the same request, and or is there a way to set it as just the one code and keep that?

Have you installed any work or school profile/email accounts? Your iPhone should not prompt you for a passcode update in general, but if you register your phone with a work or school organization they might implement extra requirements.

Prompt to Change your Passcode:
You should not be getting this prints, as it is not built in to the operating system, by default. So, is this an SMS message? If so, then it may be a scam. So, please reply back with a screenshot of what you are seeing: Take a Screenshot on iPhone - Apple Support. IMPORTANT: Blank out personal information (i.e. named and eMail addresses, by coving them with red-colored rectangles and such, through use of the photos app).
