I want to download and setup multiple copies of an app with different login. Since I phone uses two mobile numbers it should also be capable of installing /cloning an app twice so that users can login to a same app with two different account details . This is very much possible on android. Can someone help me with how this can be done on iPhone ?

Phone numbers aren’t relevant here. Most any recent iPhone can have up to two active phone numbers out of some usually-larger number of available eSIM slots.
An iPhone is a single-user device, and is not intended to be shared among people without an intervening reset.
Possibilities for the requirements here can include sharing among people (not supported), or better partitioning work and home (iPhone is not good at that), or with an app that can’t manage multiple logins (check with the app developer), or maybe something else.
As the reply above sagely suggests, log your feedback with Apple, or with the app developer for a single login app. You might want to clarify what else should be shared in your feedback, and what else should not be shared—should the passwords, for instance, be shared?

Unfortunately this isn't possible on iPhone as of now, except in cases where apps allow for multiple account log ins, e.g. X. You can always leave feedback for the iPhone team, Feedback - iPhone - Apple.
