ipad pencil out of calibration

Sometimes when I sidecar my iPad with my MacBook, the pen calibration goes rogue, shifting about half an inch from the actual vertical position. I believe having an additional monitor/projector connected to the MacBook exacerbates the situation. Please provide a solution. The problem only happens sometimes and fiddling with settings, plugging/unplugging may or may not randomly fix the problem. It is very random. Shame on the test engineers.

Apple Pencil Pro : Squeeze "Tool Palette" doesn't work left handed. iPad Air M2, Apple Pencil Pro. (Both brand new). When using the Apple Pencil Pro new feature "Tool Palette when squeezing", it's impossible to register some tap on the palette when it is aligned for a left hand. (The tool will change orientation automatically when it detect that the pen is held in right hand or left hand.) In this situation it doesn't seem to detect at all (or barely) any tap to select the color picker or the option menu. It work totally fine when in the right hand orientation. I've added a video that show the problem. (You can see the virtual shadow of the pen. Notice how it does draw directly under the color picker icon. It mean I tap in the right area and it doesn't register.) Additional notes : Both iPad Air M2 and Apple Pencil Pro are brand new. Both are charged. (Pencil is 100%.) I was able to reliably reproduce the same problem in iPad OS 17.5 The problem persist even if I make sure to not touch the screen with my left hand. The pencil itself work fine. The pen touch and hover are robust and reliable overall. Only this scenario is an issue. It look like a software problem that can be resolved. I also want to stress how this does make a selling point of the new pen totally unusable for left handed consumer. (Other mention of the issues are available on the web.) Apple pencil pro disconnecting very frequently I am an artist and have been using the new ipad pro and apple pencil pro to draw. After some use, the apple pencil will stop working and it will not draw from a couple of seconds to a couple of minutes. It is very disruptive to my workflow. I’ve noticed when I’m trying to get it to work again, the brush cursor will sometimes be visibly off-set from where the pen is touching the screen. When the pen won’t draw, I can still tap and squeeze the pencil and get a response, the shortcuts will always work for me, it just won’t draw. It is always still connected to bluetooth, and the tip is always screwed in. Does anyone else have this issue? Is there any known ways to resolve it, or would it be beneficial to take it to an Apple store to get checked?

Apple Pencil Skips on Part of Screen I have exactly the same problem as this user: Apple Pencil skips on one part of the scr… - Apple Community Except that I have a 3rd generation iPad Pro 12.9” running iOS 16.3. I’ve been in two, hour-long talks with Apple Senior Technical Support people and have shared my iPad’s screen to demo the problem. They’ve had me reset, and twice completely erase the iPad (once by itself and again using an iMac as this apparently downloaded a fresh copy of iOS 16.3). All to no avail. These are the particulars of this behavior: The vertical blank column of the screen is in the middle of the right half of the screen, and about 3/4” wide. The top 2” of the screen in that area behave normally, while the stripe below that becomes increasingly more likely to make the pen skip as you move down. However if you move the pen slowly from outside this strip into it, you can keep the pen from skipping. Using one’s finger generates no skips at all. On three occasions, I temporarily ‘fixed’ the skipping. Twice by changing between my wife’s and my own 2nd generation Pencils, and once by flipping the iPad into portrait orientation. However 98% of the time, the behavior is consistently repeatable in that portion of the screen. It occurs across all apps, but only with the pencil (both examples of the 2nd gen. Pencil I have). This problem is currently unresolved, but renders my costly Shapr3d subscription (CAD) almost useless on this device as it’s very pencil-dependent.
