Unable to switch keyboards on my iPhone 13 Pro since updating iOS

Hi, i have a iphone 13 pro and its updated to the latest software, 17.xx or something like that as of today. I have a swiftkey that I have been using for years with the no issues and recently seems to have switching keyboards problem. It reverts to the original Apple (pre dinosaur with no predictive text) keyboard and its hugely irritating as it doesnt correct wrong letters. I have done the following in any combination orders:

1. Uninstalled/installed swiftkey
2. placed swiftkey on the highest order in keyboard
3. Reset/restart the phone after 1 and 2
4. Deleted all other keyboards
5. Read all possible forums
6. Reset/restart the phone after 1/2/3/4
7. Keep praying after item 1/2/3/4/5/6.

Its driving me crazy. Looks like i maybe forced to switch to Samsung android if it continues. Its not efficient to be typing this slow. Any help from the community or Apple here?
