Signing into the correct account

If I sign out of the current iCloud account I'm logged into on my MacBook Pro, and sign into the one that my phone is currently signed into, would that cause an issue whenever I need to get my computer covered under applecare +? The account I'm currently signed into on my Mac is the one that I believe has been connected to my applecare warranty for my mac, but would it matter if I change which iCloud account I use on there?
