Touch controls on Sony xm4

For some reason the touch controls act funny with my iPad while they work perfectly well with my Android phone, pause and especially play refuses to work even though the headphones have registered the input. Is this a problem only I am facing or a general trend with apple devices

CarPlay controls on Steering Wheel no longer working All of a sudden the volume control and the song skip paddle buttons on my steering wheel don't work with CarPlay. The Seri button doesn't do anything either. I've tried "forgetting" my car a couple of times, rebooting the care a few times, etc. The volume works fine on the stereo. I've tried using the USB connection as well as the Bluetooth connection. Nothing seems to impact the issue. I did do a security update on my iPhone a couple of days ago to IOS 16.16.1. I guess this is likely the issue? I tried a USB connection to another iPhone as well and that didn't change anything. Mine is an iPhone 11, but the other phone is pretty new. I've turned the car on and off a few times. Running out of tricks.

iPad system sounds come through headphones but not music or app sounds Kind of a weird problem: I'm using OneOdio wired headphones plugged into a power through USB C 3.5mm headphone jack dongle (maker is s'touch). This used to work just fine but sound just suddenly stopped coming through the headphones while I was playing with GarageBand. Weirdly, system sounds still come through just fine, but music, GarageBand and other app sounds do not. The little blue indicator does come on when I plug the dongle in, and I can hear a pop in the headphones when plugged and unplugged (it is distinctly the 'headphones engaged' sound, not the 'I bopped the wire' sound). Bluetooth headphones do work (for reasons of delay, using bluetooth headphones all the time is not an option).Things I've tried: Quitting and restarting all apps Restarting the iPad Switching mute on and off Switching airplane mode on and off Flipping the dongle the other way up Cleaning the dongle Cleaning the iPad's USBC port Cleaning the 3.5 mm headphone jack and plug Plugging in a different set of 3.5mm headphones None of this has had any effect. The headphones do work when plugged into other things; they're fine, but I did check with two other sets of headphones (an older gaming headset and some Apple wired headphones). Since system sounds are still coming through I suspect the dongle is okay, but unfortunately my iPad is the only device in the house that uses USBC so I can't check it with another device. Anyone have any ideas? I'm stumped here! Thanks for your attention-- I appreciate it.

iPad 10th gen keyboard clicks very quiet - speaker only Hello, Recently purchased my iPad 10th gen but today noticed that the keyboard clicks are very soft on speaker mode only. When I connect my Bluetooth headphones the clicks are at a volume level that I would expect. The issue is not my speakers - they are working fine with normal audio playback. My ringer volume is set to the maximum as well. Any help is appreciated.
