Does the Dual Shock 4 Wireless Controller Support Haptics under macOS

I recently purchased a 3rd party Switch Pro controller. When pairing with macOS it identifies itself as a Dual Shock 4 Wireless Controller. After pairing the controller all functions of the controller works with Apple Arcade games (with the exception of haptic feedback). The controller claims to support haptic feedback / rumble. Using the "Game Controllers" menu item in Sonoma's system preferences, I click the "Identify" button which is suppose to cause the controller to vibrate, but it does not. I have been reading about several similar scenarios with the official PS Dual Shock 4 controller from Sony and users claiming theirs do not vibrate under macOS either. From someone that actually owns the official game controller, does the Dual Shock 4 Wireless Controller support haptics under macOS and if not is there a way to enable it?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 14.1
