WhatsApp badge count incorrect.
Running IOS 17.1.1, but have had this same issue across multiple IOS versions and models, restored phones and brand new fresh install of iOS.
Issue:
- I receive messages from 3 different WhatsApp conversations.
- I open the WhatsApp
- Only read one of those conversations
The badge count on the icon on my home screen becomes zero, even if the other conversations are still unread when I open the app.
This doesn't happen for other messaging apps e.g. Messages or facebook messenger.
Apple point use to WhatsApp and WhatsApp to Apple…. By the way it’s same for Android if you search support groups.
Can Apple take some action against WhatsApp to address this?
