No 'Show Bluetooth in menu bar checkbox' available

My bluetooth button on my menu bar has disappeared . Following instructions: From the Apple menu, select System Preferences.
Click Bluetooth.
Select the Show Bluetooth in menu bar checkbox.

There is NO option to select the Show Bluetooth in menu bar checkbox.

I am on Sonoma 14.1.1

You can add the Bluetooth menu to the menu bar via Control Center.

I had this problem. Go to System Settings > Control Centre > Bluetooth > right hand side select Show in Menu Bar.

System Setting not Preferences

If after enabling the Bluetooth in Menu Bar and it is not showing.

You may have Too Many Other Menu Bar items squeezing Out the possibility of the Bluetooth icon to appears
