Macbook pro starting on blank screen (temporary)

i’ve been seeing lots of posts about this issue but different types, i have a 2019 Macbook Pro 13in and Im starting to think it’s a battery issue, i won’t hear the startup chime the keyboard leds/caps lock doesn’t light up, any cmnd combo doesn’t work, but i do hear the charging chime. i wait until my macbook dies, i plug it back in. boom. it’s working. but when it dies, i have to let it fully die again before the screen or anything works besides the apple charging noise? anyone else saying the same thing? ivr seen many black screen issues on startup hoping a couple of you can relate and this may help.
