How do you regain ownership of music purchased years ago on old local email accounts I do not have access to now?

I have bought Itunes music for 20 years now. The older songs were bought when I had a locally assigned email address (like everyone else). Now I can't play those songs on my computer as it wants my password to my hawaii.rr.com account from 2003, if not, they will cheerfully send a password reset request to an address which I have not owned in 20 years! I have had three such local addresses before getting a web-based Yahoo address. How can I regain ownership "authorization" for these old songs?
