I can't remove a warning from my MacBook Pro

Received a warning "Safe Surf FinderDaemon" will damage your computer. The warning has two options OK and show in finder - I cannot find this anywhere on my computer to trash it. Lastly, I cannot remove the warning. Also, I cannot find "Safe Surf FinderDaemon" on the computer to remove it.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 14.1

Sure sounds like third party adware / spam ...

where ?

pop-up?

Using a browser?

If this is Safari—look at your Safari>Settings>Websites >both Notifications and Pop-up Windows and disallow any and all offenders

Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/Anti-Virus/VPN

all known to cause issues on the macOS
