Iphone Taking More Storage After Transfer From Icloud

Hi. So I'm transferring my photo from icloud to my internal iphone storage, but it end up taking more space than it should. My photo storage it's around 300 mb before the transfer, and the photo in my icloud it's around 33 gb. But after transferring all the photo and video from the icloud, it end up being 37 gb of gallery storage used. Why this is happening? Can someone help me with this?

However, since doing this, my photo library has gone down from 30,000+ to 800 and the storage is still showing exactly the same? I am so confused! Can anyone help? Thanks

Icloud photos not syncing with enough storage. I'm having an issue with my Iphone 11. My photos aren't syncing to the cloud and my storage stays the same. I just purchased 50gb's of extra storage but I don't notice a change in the amount of space I have. I need a little over 7gb for this IOS update and I haven't been able to upgrade to the newest version because of this issue. Is there any way someone could help me with this? Thanks so much!

can’t sync photos to iCloud i just purchased 2TB iCloud Storage, but i can’t sync my photos to iCloud cause “Not Enough iPhone Storage”, how to fix it? cause i thought that if i have more storage on iCloud, i can automatically move all my photos to iCloud
