Wondering why Thunderbird is crashing on a daily basis. Any ideas?

I'm trying to pinpoint why my Thunderbird application has crashed quite regularly this week.

Can you see anything in my EtreCheck report which might highlight the cause?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

As you didn't give Etrecheck full disk access, there may be information the we can't see.

However, there are some things that jump out at me. Are you using what appear to be two VPNs to log into a secure server say, for your job? If you are not using the VPNs to log into a secure server, delete them. They can cause all kinds of problems and provide little to know security benefits. And, depending on the vendor, may result in your data being sold.

Delete Malwarebytes. While it is a fine program, there's no reason to keep it running continuously. Download the free version when you want to do a scan (I do it maybe once a year) and then delete it.

Delete VirusBarrier. It's not necessary.

After you've done that, restart your computer and see what happens. You might also want to delete and re-install Thunderbird.

FWIW, there's no need to uninstall Malwarebytes. You can just disable Real Time Protection.

Why keep something you don't need on the computer? It doesn't take long to download and then you know you always have the latest version. Also, for troubleshooting purposes, uninstalling it seems like a good idea to me. But, you do you.
