Iphone AirDrop not finding anyone after iOS 17.1.1 update

I think the title says anything. I am trying to transfer some edited photos from my iPhone to my Mac using AirDrop, but it says "NO PEOPLE FOUND - There is no one nearby to share with".

I have already followed all the steps for troubleshooting:

Made sure both devices are within range, that they both have personal hotspot turned off, that both have AirDrop set to be discoverable by Everyone. Then I restarted both devices, turned Bluetooth off and on, turned AirDrop off and on...

The problem persists!

I would appreciate if someone could help me.
