why in 2023, Logic Pro still has audio so slow??

I apologize for my English, I never find an answer on this topic, for years now, all DAWs have the ability to edit audio files in real time, with version 10.8 they have added the "Slip tool" and "Rotate tool", now, how can I use a tool that moves the wave in real time (i.e. while I'm listening) if the audio stops every time? but even if I use any other Tool, for example "Gain Tool" if while I am in Play I try to lower or raise the volume, it is never in real time, the change arrives after a few seconds, if you try to do the same things, in any other Daw you will notice that the change is immediate, there is no lag, the same goes for listening to the samples, in the sample manager, both untagged and apple loop, it is obvious that being a software with many years behind it, it has a very old code, but what I wonder, why doesn't anyone talk about it? Am I really the only one complaining about this annoying problem?

finally, I would like to ask owners of Ipad with logic, if there is the same problem on Ipad too?
