iPad China?

I am traveling to China. Are there any restrictions on taking my iPad into the country?

In just got taxed by the Chinese custom for 1000 RMB at Humen 4 days ago for bringing in an IPAD. I bought this IPAD in September and I only have one IPAD and one lap top. I bought this IPAD from China itself and it is also for personal use. I turned on my ipad top\ show the custom that it is all my personal stuff but it is useless. They still taxed me 1000RMB. This is ridiculous. The IPAD is not in a box and it is for my personal use and only one unit. SILLY!!!!
