I have an old email address as my AppleID. I have multiple IOS devices logged in to my cloud account , however, I cannot log in on my Mac to make changes as the email address originally used to create iCloud no longer exists. Am I stuffed?

As I said, I have an old email address as my AppleID. I have multiple IOS devices and a couple of OS devices that are currently logged in to my iCloud account , however, I cannot log in via appleid.apple.com on ANY device to make the necessary changes as the email address originally used to create iCloud no longer exists as the validation goes into the ether. Support really didn't offer much assistance...after 2 odd hours, with respect they did not have much idea - just said I need to create a new Apple ID and start from scratch. Yeah right...all my subs, data etc etc, what a nightmare! I have invested heavily in the apple eco system yet there does not seem to be a solution which is a massive disappointment. Has anybody else been in this situation?

If you no longer use the email address that's associated with your Apple ID, you can change it.

You won’t lose access to your contacts, purchases or other account information.
