The date for the reminder cannot sync with calendar

When I add a new reminder and set a date for that reminder on Dec 1, 2024, it cannot sync up anything on my calendar. When I go to my calendar on Dec 1, 2024, nothings there. Are there any setting that can assist me to sync up between the event on my reminder to my calendar?

iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 17

In iOS, the Calendar app and the Reminders app are separate entities and do not sync information directly. Reminders don't typically appear as events on the calendar, and there's no direct synchronization between the two apps in the way events would show up in the calendar automatically.

However, you can manually add a reminder to your Calendar as an event. Here's how you can do it:

  1. Open the Calendar app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap the "+" icon to add a new event.
  3. Instead of setting it as a reminder, enter the details of your event (title, date, time, etc.) directly in the event creation screen.
  4. Save the event.

This way, you'll have the event in your Calendar as well as the reminder in the Reminders app. Unfortunately, iOS doesn't have a built-in automatic synchronization between reminders and calendar events in the way you're describing.
