Custom Paper Size with Airprint

So I am trying to figure out how to get a custom paper size input on my TR8620 Canon printer. I assume that I am getting the Airprint window show up when I use File > Print on a document. At this point, I have figured out that clicking on Printer > Printer and Scanner Settings > Default Paper Size in the Airprint window, finally gets me to a selection of common sizes for printing. Is there any way, through this process, to get a custom size as well ?

Air Print Paper Options Limitations While trying to print a screenshot on my Epson printer via Air Print I was only given the option to print on premium glossy photo paper. I don't use this paper which caused my printer to present an error that essentially said the paper type was unavailable, please insert paper. My iOS is 16.3 and I tried this with an 11 Pro as well. Will there be any updates to allow the user to select their preferred paper type? If I email the screenshot to my MacBook I can print on regular paper without issue so this is a problem with iOS/Air Print not my printer. Thanks!

Printing on Canon Printers Whenever I AIR PRINT to a CANON Printer, from iPad or iPhone, it always asks for the REAR PAPER tray , I would like to have the default main tray be asked for, I have looked at settings for Air Print, did "No PRESET". and did MAIN TRAY all to no Effect.

Setting a default print preset per printer In previous versions of macOS I was able to use a different print preset per printer. On my Ventura test machine (13.1) this seems to no longer be the case. A saved preset always needs to be selected manually from the preset list. I have two label printers which, for obvious reasons, do not use A4 paper (which is set as system default) but labels on a roll. Having to select the saved preset manually each time is not only annoying but also quite prone to error and as such a waste of paper. Enabling CUPS and setting a default there also does not change anything. The preset still needs to be selected manually. In addition, when printing on the standard printer (which uses A4 paper) there is no paper size defined at all in the print dialog - even though the paper size is specified correctly in system settings. Will refrain from updating from Monterey until I have a solution as everything is currently working fine there. So, is it just me or is printing massively broken in Ventura?
