"Macbook Air M2 will not download updates: I'm attempting to download and install updates for Safari and Ventura 13.5 with the ultimate intention of updating to Sonoma. Nothing will download. I get a tiny blue sliver on the prog bar but after hours of waiting, nothing happens. I have over 240GB of free space, I have no other apps running (that I know of), I have a very strong wifi connection, and I'm connected to power."

Troubleshooting Stalled Update:
Few Thoughts:
Sometimes when changes are made to the system(i.e. updates), system configurations (i.e. for Power) become manipulated, technically. So, reset the SMC and NVRAM. Use a different external keyboard, if available option. (applies to Intel-Baced Macs Only).
- Use Ethernet (Hardwired-Connection)
Ethernet will allow for a reliable connection.
- Install Via a USB Bootable Installer:
Try installing via a USB Bootable Installer. Use a separate Mac to create one of these - use a 16GB flash drive. It is create in Terminal, with the correct drivers.
