Enabling siri on apple watch

So I couldn’t enable Siri on my apple watch, but the thing is i clicked set up later when i was setting my apple watch up. But when i wanted to enable it, there was no button in the apple watch app that let me enable. So i went to the settings on my apple watch and i clicked on Siri and there was a button with an option to turn it on but when i clicked it didn't change a thing about Siri. So i guess the button didn't work.
