Double Tap I have a new Series 9 watch. I bought it for double tap but that doesn’t come up as an option under settings < gestures. Why?

Double tap doesn’t appear as a choice under gestures.

Apple Watch Series 4, watchOS 10

Double Tap I thought the "Double Tap" feature only works with the Apple Watch Series 9. I have a SE, first edition and it works for me with that watch.

Does Double Tap on Watch Series 9 not work for Timers? I have a new Series 9 Apple Watch, and have the Double Tap gesture turned on. When a Timer is done, I thought I'd be able to use Double Tap to turn the Timer done alarm off, but, it doesn't seem to work for that function. Do I need to do something else to make Double Tap work to turn off the Timer done alarm? I can't understand why it won't work for something like that? That's often when I need that gesture to work.
