Change text to audio speech voice in Services?

I wish to change text to audio speech voice in Services? Currently it is a female voice but I am male.

My default voice / sound output in Settings is Daniel (male).

But it seems Settings and Services are different audio voice outputs.

How do I set up text to audio speech voice in Services to a different voice?

Thank you.

Thank you but it seems 'System' and 'Services' are not the same.

Your solution allows me to change the System voice; for example, Daniel.

But Services is not the same. I opened Safari, highlighted some text and the 'text to audio' option is female. The Services Settings option does not appear to allow me to change voice in 'Services' either.

Our last post crossed.

I see that you have this shortcut "Turn Text into Audio".

In the Shortcuts application, I see this shortcut "Make Spoken Audio from Text". This has an option to select the voice, and it appears that the default for it is female. I suppose you made your shortcut using this, and did not change the voice; that would explain it. Open your shortcut in the Shortcuts application, select the voice you want, and you're done.
