Multicoloured lines on the left of my MacBook Air.

Hi. For the past week or so, there have been vertical lines on the left side of my screen and running along the bottom as well. Whenever I try to shut it, they get worse. It's not been in water, damaged, or dropped. Does anybody know how to fix this? It's starting to bother me a lot especially that its not getting better. Thanks 😊

Seeing fine vertical lines along the left side of MacBook Air screen. I have a macair. Suddenly I am getting fine vertical lines along the left side of the screen from top to bottom and across the bottom from left to right. they extend about a half inch from the edge of the screen towards the middle...almost like a bar. any help is appreciated [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Macbook air 13" displays vertical lines suddenly when opening screen NOT DAMAGED....no chance of damage.... Opened screen and one vertical red line appeared toward screen to the right. I noticed the line disappeared but later today it turned into several lines in same area. The lines get less if slowly open and close lid. I googled and seen display lid problems are common. This is a few months old.
