15 Pro Battery - Does it really improve after a few days?

We've had the 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max since launch day. Battery life on both is fantastic. Yes, it will take a few days to index and housekeep all it's data, but after a few days, things have been great with both phones.

Like Chris and lobsterghost1, I've had an iPhone 15 Pro from launch day. It took a day or two to settle and since then it has been great.

Have you read reports from other owners using the 15 Pro? How do they feel about the battery drain? Have you tried other solutions such as optimizing the settings or reducing the apps in use? Have you looked into battery optimization apps or settings that could help alleviate the issue?

I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max and at first saw some unusual battery drain. However, it seemed to settle down quickly while others were mentioning the overheating issue, but I never experienced that. I've kept my device updated and am currently on iOS 17.1.1, and I must admit out of all my iPhones, it seems to get the best battery life I've seen. I start early in the morning and after a full 16 hour day I still have around 65-70% remaining.
