My Apple watch 7 side button no longer shows my favourites app

I have an Apple watch 7 which after the last update to ISO 10.1.1 no longer shows my favourite apps when I press the side button. Instead it shows the stuff that used to be at the bottom of the watch if I swiped up.


Also on my iPhone 11 ISO 17.1.1 the watch app no longer had the Dock feature.


Plus how do you off load apps you don't want on the watch? I tried going to the app & tapping off "Show App on Apple Watch" but nothing happens.

These are 3rd party apps like Rosette Stone, CATSA, Pictoword etc that I don't want on my watch. The watch app refuses to switch from on Green to off across from "Show App on Apple Watch". see 1st photo.


I turned off "Automatic App Install" under General in the watch app on my iPhone.


I know it takes a minutes or more to update the watch.

Yes, that is all correct.

What apps are you trying to remove? Are these third-party apps? Are you saying that the Watch apps says the apps are no longer on the the watch but you still see them? Sometimes it takes a minute or two for the app to disappear from the watch.
