Changing the format of a screenshot on an iPad

Prior to iOS 17 when you took a screenshot on an iPad it would save it to photos as a png I believe, but if you selected the screenshot in the lower left corner before it disappeared it would open and give you the option of selecting full page so it would not only capture what was on the screen at the time you did the capture but the entire page and then you could save it or email the entire page. When you selected email it would send it in pdf format which was perfect but now it sends it in jpg format and if there are a few pages things are too tiny to read. How can I change the default format for emailing these full page captures back to pdf like they were in previous versions?

Thank you

iPad (9th generation)

Thanks for the reply, but I was aware of that it is just when you select email it sends it as a jpg instead of a pdf as it did in previous versions. I don’t want to save it just email it but in pdf format and not jpg. In previous versions the email was always in pdf. I assume somewhere there is a setting to choose a default format for emailing screen captures just don’t know where to find it.
