Giant letter in iPhone contacts

Since updating to ios17 each Contact displays with a giant letter (in some cases a photo) in a header that together take up 2/3 of the screen. Thus pushing down the contact info which I actually need, so that I have to scroll to see phone numbers, email addresses etc. I now have to scroll for just about every call I make, of which I could easily be making 30-50 calls per day. For me my iphone is not a gadget or toy, I run my business on it. This new "feature" is extremely unhelpful. How can I get rid of, or permanently minimize, this giant header, please and thank you?
