Videos won’t play after 17.1.1

Can someone help! My videos on my photo library will no longer play since I didn’t the 17.1.1 update!!

This was about to drive me crazy until I agreed to the new terms and conditions in the Settings > Apple ID > iCloud. everything works fine now.

iOS 17.2 Opening videos in photos app I’ve just updated to iOS 17.2 around 7 hours ago, and for the whole time, my photos app won’t open videos. It doesn’t play normally no matter what I do. The only way for me to view the video is to select edit and then replay the video in the “edit” screen.

Photos won't play videos on my iPhone 15 Pro that I've taken I opened Photos on my iPhone 15 Pro and was trying to watch a video that I had recorded a couple of weeks ago. When I open the video, the pause button is available, but the video doesn't play. I can click on the pause and then click play, but nothing. I try to scroll through the video and only see the original frame. If I click the edit button, I can scroll through all of the frames of the video. The videos play on iCloud.com. They also play in Photos on my MacBook Pro. Everything was working the last time I tried to play the videos a week or 2 ago. I even tried recording some new videos, but they won't play.

Had the problem, fixed by restarting the phone. (Temporary maybe) Gotta be a bug to fix with ios17.1.1

I Went to iCloud and there were no terms to agree to. Everything seems fine. Still have problem with my videos. Says there was an error uploading a higher quality video.
