Wrist pain - Apple Watch series 8

Hi I have been experiencing extreme pain for several months since I purchased the series 8 watch. It has gotten worse in the last month to the point my thumb aches all the time I have pain from my wrist into that thumb and about 6in up my forearm. I thought it was nothing but now it’s a real issue. Anyone else have this problem?

Apple Watch wrist/hand pain I have had my Apple Watch for 3 years now and I believe it is causing pain in my wrist and hand. I do not wear the band tight but snug enough for it to read. It is also a stretchy band so it moves with my wrist. My wrist is to the point where if I flex my wrist down it shoots pain throughout my hand. The pain starts right where my watch sits and on the tendon. No this is not a sports injury or a job related injury. It started a year into wearing the watch and has gotten worse which is why I believe it is the watch. I’m reading other people are having the same issue. I feel like there is a bigger issue relating to the watch being bad for your health. Idk looking for answers here!

Series 9 causing arm pain I purchased my first Apple watch in January, 2024 (Series 9 - 45 mm). I only wear it during the day and charge it every night. I have always worn a Fitbit in the past with no issues. Within a couple of weeks, I started noticing pain in my elbow, that has gradually gotten worse - never thought about it being the watch. I was sick for a few days and while I wasn't wearing the watch, the pain subsided. When I returned to work on Monday, I put the watch on and within 3 hours, the pain was back. Called Apple and they have never heard of this problem, although I am finding results of others with a quick google search. Because I purchased the watch at BestBuy, Apple says there is nothing that they can do. Has anyone else experienced this arm pain? Suggestions for a remedy - I really hate to not be able to wear a $400.00 watch. [Edited by Moderator]

Arm numbness and pain I’ve had an Apple Watch SE 2nd gen for about 6months, and I’m constantly getting numb arm, arm tingling etc. I never experienced this before with my previous watch series 4, wondered how many people had been experiencing this?! Is Apple aware? This is not strap related (using a Nike sports strap) larger size, so it’s not tight at all!

Various folks have a few different issues wearing an Watch. Some people just can't wear one.
