ios 17 ipad color schemes in Pages?

After upgrading to ios 17, several settings have changed that I no longer seem to be correct. Selecting text in Page used to show in a soft blue. Now everything is in this ugly orange. I can find all sorts of tutorials on how to change the highlight color, but nothing on where I can select colors to customize Pages. I really, really hate the orange. Any help appreciaed.

Hey TomHayes1.

I had the same problem. This worked for me: Open the pages document on your MAC if you have one. I now had the doc open on both devices. (don't know if that made a difference). On the Mac, Select "view", "comments and changes", "author color." The color that was selected was the new color that I didn't want. I changed the color. Then I tried highlighting again on my iPad and voila! iPad now highlighted in my selected color again. Hope this helps.

Not sure hat to tell you, Viking. Two days ago when I selected text in Pages on my iPad it highlighted in a soft blue. After going to 17.1 it's an ugly orange. I'm not making it up. I didn't change it, and I'm ****** that I can't change it back. I just want to know if therte's a way to customize the highlight colors in Pages. It seems like a fairly easy thing to do; I just can't find the control panel to do it.

I sure don't want to argue whether or not I'm seeing what I'm seeing.
