iPhone not connecting to wifi

Hi my sons iPhone 5s says incorrect password i changed internet service providers yesterday and all apple products can connect fine this phone is just saying incorrect password i did a factory reset and still nothing. was working fine with my old provider and when i turn on my iphone 14s hotspot it connects without an issue. its running ios12 ignore below its not a 4s.

To find out the correct Wi-Fi password, you must log in to the router.

The Wi-Fi network name, or SSID (service set identifier), is the name your network that has a password.

That is your Wi-Fi password.

or If you have iOS 16 / iPadOS 16 (or higher):

Go to -> Settings -> tap Wi-Fi -> tap on the hideen Password -> enter Passcode -> you will then see the Wi-Fi Password.


If they are On, turn Off Hotspot & VPN.
