can I change my music apple id to current email so I can listen to it?

Some of the music I have was authorized under a work email. Since I'm no longer with the company, the email address is no longer valid. I have a new email and want to authorize the music with that one in order to listen to it. How can this be done?

Windows, Windows 10

It sounds like you are now using a new Apple Account. You should have simply changed the address on the old Apple account. Purchases made with an old account cannot be transferred. Note that even though you have lost hte wrok email address, you may still be able to log into the account since it isn't really connected to your work, it is simply an email address that Apple doesn't know is no longer working. However, you may find that if you wish to update the address that Apple will then try to send an email to the work address with no success. and not let you update it.

You can contact Apple and see if they have any suggestions.

Select your country (also look for "other" regions), then a product. If you don't see one that handles your issue then keep experimenting with selections until you reach one that gets you a chat session or a telephone call and get the representative to redirect you.

Correct, if you no longer work for that company, that company has already deleted your work email address. This is done as soon as you have left the company so that you can no longer log in. You no longer have any rights there.

An deleted email address, it is no longer valid, it simply no longer exists and it no longer works.

You may not be able to change that email work address because it is no longer exists.

That is not possible, sorry.

All apps and music purchased with that work Apple ID, no longer exist.
