When sending pictures via iPhone email they get blurry

When sending pictures by email the people receive blurry pictures. When I send them by iMessage or Airdrop them they are perfectly in focus.

Am I doing something wrong when emailing them?

i dont use the apple mail app but in general my experience with email has been that photos are typically compressed. Due to the higher quality of modern cameras, photo file sizes have grown. Email isn't the most effective platform for sending large files, resulting in compression and a subsequent loss of quality—manifesting as the blurriness.

if your photos are backed up to iCloud, you can select them, then click the ‘share' option, lastly click ‘copy icloud link.' This will generate a link for you to include in the email. Recipients can simply click the link to access the images you selected in their original, full quality.

Alternatively, if iCloud isn't available, you can upload the photos to Google Drive or Dropbox and share the link in a similar manner. This provides a reliable way to share large files without compromising image quality

I am sorry to hear that you can’t send images via email without them getting blurry.

If you are sending iPhone to iPhone, please follow these steps:

1) Open your Settings app on your iPhone.

2) Tap General.

3) Tap Software Update.

4) If there is an available update for your iPhone, tap Install Now.

5) Plug your iPhone into power (cable or wireless) and wait for it to show your Lock Screen.

6) Log into your iPhone.

7) Open your Mail app.

8) Send a Test Email with a Photo to your other email address (if you have one).

If you do not have 2 or more email addresses, try sending your test email to one of your friend/family member’s email address.

If these steps did not work for you, please reply to me.
