No "create new contact" option from a text message

Previously, when I received a text message on my phone and the number wasn't already in my contacts,I could click on the arrow next to the phone number, whichbrought up a menu including the "info" tab. From there, there would be an option to "create new contact." After an update this week, that option is no longer there --so I can't ceate a new contact from a text message. I would be surprised if programmers intentionally deleted this option. Am I missing something? Is there another way to create a new contact from a text message?

Hi. This happened to me as well. I reduced the font size back to normal (I had increased it for better visibility) and was able to see the 'Add Contact' again. Seems to be some issues with the display rendering on that screen when font size is increased. Hope that helps.

That must be a lot of scrolling🤬☺️🤣🤣😂🥹😎😎😎👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

because I even tried it thinking that my phone was just being slow and it wasn’t prompting the other screen to show up

I thank you to everyone for the advice!!!

I am also not a fan of the change!!

Yes this is horribly not intuitive and vastly worse than the prior method. Why make 3 steps when you had one before. Also, it just makes no sense at all. Why would anyone think hey touch the blank picture to create a contact instead of a simple label create new contact when tapping number. Apple is supposed to be better because it is intuitive. It is so unintuitive I have to look up this thread when I have not added a contact in months.

After getting useless advice from others and finding it almost impossible to find an answer to this exact question (people seem to love answering questions that were not asked) you have solved my problem exactly. Your level 1 response was spot on, compared to another level 10 response that was likely boilerplate and ignored the facts I presented.
