InternetSharing running without it being turned on and bridge100 interfering with VPN connection

I have InternetSharing disabled in System Preferences but still it shows up running in 'ps ax'

This would not be a problem if it wasn't for the bridge100 interface messing with VPN routing. If I use any websites available through the VPN I get a connection timeout. When I disable the interface ('ifconfig bridge100 down') the websites work as normal. I also can see that 'route get <internal_site>' returns bridge100 if it is enabled.

Is there any other config which might be responsible for this? Is there any way how I can disable InternetSharing and bridge100 completely as I don't need it?
