Stop teen disabling wifi

Hi,

My teenagers are burning through their data allowance each month and its costing me a fortune.

I wondered if there was a way or an app that will block the option to turn off wifi so that whilst they are at home its covered at least.

Thanks

Unfortunately, performing this task using an iPhone isn't feasible.

Managing internet access and implementing parental controls is achievable through modern routers. These devices offer robust functionalities allowing users to regulate and limit internet usage. Accessing these features typically involves logging into your router's settings using specific IP addresses such as 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1, along with your unique username and password.

By utilizing these functionalities, you can tailor internet access for various devices, set time limits, block specific websites or content categories, and even establish different access levels for different users within your household. This control not only promotes a safer online environment but also assists in managing screen time effectively for children and adults alike.

The process of configuring these controls may vary slightly depending on the router brand and model, but generally, accessing the router settings through the provided IP address and credentials will grant you access to a dashboard or interface where you can navigate through options like parental controls, access restrictions, or internet scheduling.

Remember, it's crucial to secure your router with a strong password to prevent unauthorized access and ensure the safety of your network. Always refer to the router's user manual or online documentation for detailed instructions tailored to your specific device.
