Quick notes

After the update on iPad Pro, where is the quick notes thing I used to drag from the bottom right hand corner? It used to bring up a blank page to write on. Where??

iPad Pro, iPadOS 16

Quick Notes remain available in both iPadOS 16.x and 17.x. Check that the feature remains configured as expected:

iPadOS 16.x

Settings > General > Gestures >

  • Allow Finger Swipe From Corner - set to ON
  • Left Corner Swipe - select Screenshot, Quick Note or OFF
  • Right Corner Swipe - select Screenshot, Quick Note or OFF

iPadOS 17.x

Settings > Multitasking and Gestures >

  • Swipe Finger from Corner - set to ON
  • Bottom Left Corner - select Screenshot, Quick Note or OFF
  • Bottom Right Corner - select Screenshot, Quick Note or OFF
