Previously I was able to add GIFs to my WhatsApp messages by pressing the photo/ video button. Now this option (to press to add a GIF), no longer appears at the bottom of the screen. What can I do to get the GIF option back?

You'll need to get a hold of whatsapp support, not an Apple app.
